Terms of Service
Last updated August 21, 2026
These terms apply to your use of this website and the free tools on it. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
What this site is
Robin Hood Financial Group provides payment processing consulting: we read merchant statements, explain what is on them, and where we can lower the cost we will quote it. We also place merchant processing accounts, which is how we are paid. We say that plainly rather than presenting ourselves as a neutral party.
The calculators produce estimates
The rate, surcharge, benchmark, cash and flat-rate tools return estimates based only on the figures you enter. They are meant to be useful, not exact. Your actual costs depend on your card mix, average ticket, transaction count, pricing model and your existing agreement. Nothing produced by a calculator on this site is a quote, an offer, or a guarantee of savings.
No legal, tax or accounting advice
Our guides discuss surcharging, cash discounting, PCI compliance and related rules because business owners need to understand them. That material is general information and is not legal advice. Surcharging rules change, they vary by state, and in some states different agencies read them differently. Card network rules apply on top of state law — debit and prepaid cards can never be surcharged, and the networks impose caps, disclosure and advance-notice requirements. Talk to your own advisers before changing how you price.
Approvals and pricing
Any rate, approval, funding time or account term is subject to underwriting by the processor or sponsor bank. We do not promise approval or specific terms before underwriting confirms them. Where a program carries a reserve or other condition, we disclose it before you sign.
Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate information. An analysis built on wrong figures will be wrong.
- Only upload documents you have the right to share.
- Do not misuse the site, attempt to break it, or use it to send anything unlawful.
Your content
Statements and documents you send us remain yours. You give us permission to use them for the limited purpose of analyzing them and advising you. If we ever want to use an anonymized example publicly, we remove anything identifying — no business name, no account number, no address.
Our content
The guides, tools and other material on this site belong to Robin Hood Financial Group. You are welcome to read them, use them in your own business, and share a link. Please do not republish them as your own.
Liability
The site and its tools are provided as they are, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or reliance on an estimate produced by it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
